Manifest Greatness is a work-in-progress Manifesto of, for and by Filipino citizens of the world in synergy with foreign national friends of the Filipino people worldwide in pursuit of genuine entrepreneurial wisdom
by Marc Guerrero
with Danielle van Asch-Prevot, Jay Fajardo, Jocelyn de Jesus and Tato Malay
WE COME TOGETHER with the hope that there should be no poor Filipinos among the 100 million on home soil and over 10 million more spread through a hundred countries, whom instead of living life to develop their full potentials, are left with no choice but to exist and survive, rather than thrive, from day to day, for the past 50 years.
A philosophy of prosperity rather than that of survival shall be inculcated and actively nourished.
The penchant for self-pity should be discarded, and in its place, an attitude of pride and recognition of self-worth shall be harnessed.
The spirit of nationalism and patriotism should be reestablished in this generation and in our children’s generations.
Failures of the past should be remembered for the lessons they offer, but not as justification to fear the future and the opportunities it brings.
The attitude of optimism must prevail at all times.
There should be no poor people in the world – regardless of class, color or creed – specially for those who value work and discipline, self-drivers and go-getters, and those doing, accomplishing and achieving great undertakings and endeavors, not only for thy self, but also for others.
There ought to be no poor nor a culture of poverty of the mind, heart, spirit and a culture of poverty of the imagination as well, among the inherently happiest people on earth, born in the naturally richest lands and seas of Asia , and whose creativity and compassion are awe-inspiring and life-enhancing.
There ought to be no sick Filipinos nor there ought to be a culture of disease in the mind and a culture of disease in the spirit among the inherently healthiest people on earth who had anciently known that nature can heal and whose hands and hearts can heal the world.
There ought to be no more elder or younger Filipinos who will live in a culture of constant fear and in a culture of relentless greed any longer, aggravated by the lies and deceit and synonymous impropriety of their leaders that their followers may think as all right and in order, anymore, be they of and by their own doing or undoing, because from this day onward:
We take charge. We invest.
You and I will take charge of our own destiny.
You and I will invest our time, our money, our talent, our energy, our technology, our entrepreneurship, our resources in evolving our complex present from an uncertain past into a colorfully better future.
We do this because it is not only our own future that is at stake. It is also that of our children, our grandchildren, our nation's and our world's future.
Our loved ones and others, they, too, deserve to live lives in freedom with responsibility and responsiveness to the call of the times. They, too, should live in happiness and in health, as did our great ancestors from whose discipline, truth, wisdom and values this manifesto takes inspiration, and better than we do today.
The future is here. And in constant pursuit of enlightenment and divinity, imagine love, peace, synergy, anything and everything there was, there is and there will be in positivity, probability, possibility and proactivity. That future starts in you and me – right here, right now. Make our future your personal challenge. Inspire others, believe, live, and hope that poverty will end, and our people will thrive.#
This Manifest Greatness manifesto is originally conceived of, envisioned and initiated for practical implementation by journalist Emmanuel Mario B Santos aka Marc Guerrero and Marc Guerrero Communications Inc on the 9th of December 2009 in Manila, The Philippines, to serve as guiding inspiration in the buildup of a YouNoodle group for the worldwide celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week UK 2009 dubbed as “Genuine Entrepreneurship Workshops.” GEW Philippines shall come to be known as Entreprize Philippines, aptly, The Prize of Entrepreneurship in the World according to The Philippines, a private social media business startup project.
pagkalakilaking buwan. "Wow, moon... Lipad tayo dun!," anang 4-year
old na bata.
Unang ideya:
SA EMPIRE
STATE BUILDING
OF THE HEART
Report ng Associated Press o AP mulang West Orange, New Jersey
Nailathala sa Inquirer Lifestyle
Report ng Associated Press o AP mulang West Orange, New Jersey
Nailathala sa Inquirer Lifestyle
But don’t expect any “must-have-been-a-full-moon” spike in
crime or crazy behavior. That’s just folklore.
Saturday’s event is a “supermoon,” the closest and therefore
the biggest and brightest full moon of the year. At 11:34 p.m., the moon will
be about 221,802 miles from Earth.
That’s about 15,300 miles closer than average.
That proximity will make the moon appear about 14 percent
bigger than it would if the moon were at its farthest distance, said Geoff
Chester of the US Naval Observatory. The difference in appearance is so small
that “you’d be very hard-pressed to detect that with the unaided eye,” he said.
The moon’s distance from Earth varies because it follows an
elliptical orbit rather than a circular one...
Ikalawang ideya:
NAKATATAKOT ANG SUPERSTITION NA IKINAKABIT DITO
Pakahulugan ng Wikipedia
A "supermoon" is the coincidence of a full moon
(or a new moon) with the closest approach the Moon makes to the Earth on its
elliptical orbit, or perigee, leading to the technical name for a supermoon of
the perigee-syzygy of the Earth-Moon-Sun system. The association of the Moon
with both oceanic and crustal tides has led to claims that the supermoon
phenomenon may be associated with increased risk of events such as earthquakes
and volcanic eruptions. However, the evidence of such a link is widely held to
be unconvincing.
Terminology. The name SuperMoon was coined by astrologer Richard Nolle in
1979, defined as:
...a new or full moon which occurs with the Moon at or near
(within 90% of) its closest approach to Earth in a given orbit (perigee). In
short, Earth, Moon and Sun are all in a line, with Moon in its nearest approach
to Earth.
The term supermoon is not widely accepted or used within the
astronomy or scientific community, who prefer the term perigee-syzygy. Perigee
is the point at which the Moon is closest in its orbit to the Earth, and syzygy
is afull or new moon, when the Earth, the Moon and the Sun are aligned. Hence,
a supermoon can be regarded as a combination of the two, although they do not
perfectly coincide each time. Syzygy may occur within a maximum of 12 hours
from perigee during a supermoon, and 1 hour from perigee during an extreme
supermoon.
Ikatlong ideya:
ITO ANG PINAKAGUSTO KO mula sa aking Facebook
Ayon sa Elevate FB: We have the biggest FULL MOON of the
year arriving on May 5th, during the Celtic festival of Beltane and known as
Wesak Moon which is an auspicious day that celebrates the birth, life and death
of the Buddha and Christ Consciousness.
“This Scorpio Full Moon is also called the Wesak Moon, the
most auspicious day in Buddhism, for it celebrates the birth, enlightenment and
death of Buddha. In this energetic opposition between Taurus and Scorpio, we
are all called to the great union with Nature and the heavens, celebrating the
Divine within Nature and within ourselves. Like the Buddha, we are called to
acknowledge the divine spirit in our human nature as we overcome and release
the emotional demons that plague us and separate us from our spiritual
inheritance…”
“This potent full Moon, which is also another superMoon,
meaning it is close to the Earth and therefore exerts a stronger pull on us,
calls us to give birth to the powerful destiny seeded within each of us. This
is the year to do it and now is the time to let go of the fears and the demons
that keep us caught up in the delusions of our patriarchal society. We can band
together with like-minded people (Venus in Gemini) and create a life that is
meaningful, creative and strong (Mars in Virgo).”
“This Taurus/Scorpio Full Moon asks us to become aware of
the people and things we give the highest value to, and to look at the
emotional trauma that keeps us apart. It’s time to question our values and
beliefs about money, power, happiness and our connection to each other and to
the Earth. There are powerful forces at work determined to keep the old system
alive, regardless of how many people and places it destroys. But we are equally
powerful, and the Cosmos is lending us energy to break-through our paralysis
and stand up for our beliefs. “ - Cathy Lynn Pagano.

Feel good
occasional broadsheet newspaper, theBUSINESS
nananatiling walang kuwarta, salapi o pera, gayong lahat silang 'namumulitiko (mas
years old o pataas – puwede nang maturuan at matutong magnegosyo.
sariling business – kesehodang from scratch, microbiz, small o medium
o the other way around. “It is divine to be rich,’ di ba sabi ni Deng Xiaoping,
Pangasinense, Pampango, Batangan, Bicolano, Cebuano, Ilonggo, Waray at
Mindanaoan.
isinasaalang-alang. So, ano ka, kaibigan, businessman o entrepreneur? O
maging lalo pang interactive, convergent, interlinked and interconnected: marc_guerrero@journalist.com #

Filipino!
